Employment At Will

Employment with Webserv may be terminated for any reason, with or without cause or notice, at any time, by you or the Company. Nothing in this Employee Handbook or in any oral or written statement shall limit the right to terminate employment at will. Only the President of the Company shall have any authority to enter into an employment agreement with any employee providing for employment other than at-will and any such agreement must be in writing.

This policy of at-will employment is the sole and entire agreement between you and Webserv as to the duration of employment and the circumstances under which your employment may be terminated.

With the exception of employment at will, terms and conditions of employment with Webserv may be modified at the sole discretion of the Company, with or without cause or notice, at any time. No implied contract concerning any employment-related decision or term or condition of employment can be established by any other statement, conduct, policy, or practice.

This handbook states only general company guidelines. Webserv may, at any time, in its sole discretion, modify or vary from anything stated in this handbook, with or without notice, except for the rights of the parties to terminate employment at will.

This handbook supersedes and replaces any and all personnel policies and manuals previously distributed or made available to employees.

Open Door Policy

The company has an open-door policy and takes employee concerns and problems seriously. The company values each employee and strives to provide a positive work experience. Every employee is encouraged to speak with his or her immediate supervisor at any time with questions or problems relating to the job while employed.  If you are unable to satisfactorily resolve your question or problem with your supervisor, you can request a meeting with management or HR.


When does my shift start?

We expect you to be in sometime between 7am and 9am and leave after you’ve reached 8 hours. Don’t forget you take a 30 minute lunch in between. 

So for example, if you start at 7:30, you leave at 4:00, and if you start at 9:00, you leave at 5:30.

What do I wear to work?

We like to keep it casual, cool, and professional. Keep in mind that clients do come into the office occasionally. General rule of thumb: if you’re not sure if it’s appropriate, it’s probably not. Pro tip: Bring a sweater, it gets chilly!

Can I bring my dog to work?

We love dogs! As long as they are comfortable and well-behaved in the office, we’re happy to have them visit every once in a while. Just ask first! 🐶

When can I expect a performance review?

We conduct performance reviews every six months. It’s just a casual talk between you and the big boss!

How many vacation days do I get?

We value work-life balance. You get 10 days a year for vacation –  just let HR and Preston know a month in advance if you’ll be gone for more than a week and two weeks in advance if it’s less. Bon voyage! 🏝

How many sick days do I get?

We want you to take care of yourself! You accrue 3 sick days and 2 personal days a year (because self-care matters).

We get paid on Fridays on a bi-weekly basis. We pay via direct deposit or check, you let us know which works better for you.

Can I WFH?

Look, we get it — working in your pj’s from the comfort of your own home is the dream BUT we love our workplace community. Our physical workspace is where we build relationships, amplify our abilities, and keep each other accountable for putting forth our best.

When can I take my breaks?

You are allotted a 30-meal break per work day, which you are allowed to take when you want. No clocking in or out necessary. We also encourage you to take small breaks during your shift – go on a short walk, get some fresh air, have a snack or cup of joe (which you are welcome to in the kitchen)!

What are the COVID-19 policies?

If you are experiencing any symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19, we recommend letting HR know immediately and we can discuss WFH options.
